Wildlife Hospital * Nature ReserveWe've outgrown our home - please help us to acquire a new site! The Folly Wildlife Rescue Trust is a charity (Registered Charity 1091857) dedicated to the rescue, care, treatment and rehabilitation of injured wild animals and birds. On November 30th 2009, the Trust's planning application for a new wildlife hospital was submitted to Wealden District Council and on January 25th 2010 approval was granted. The site of the proposed hospital is in Fairview Lane, Tunbridge Wells, just off the A26 at Eridge Green. Covering some 5 acres, the Trust believes it will be ideal for its needs, being in a rural but not isolated position.During the application's consultation period, which ran until December 23rd, more than 200 letters and comments of support were posted on Wealden District council's website. There were no objections to the application. We would like to thank everyone who wrote to the council and for their very kind and positive comments about our work.
